The California based company I work for is ordering product from a Canadian vendor.
We have past due invoices with them because my finance department wont pay invoices without a U.S. W9 tax ID form. Only problem is Canadian's can't sign W9 forms because it says right on the form "I certify under penalty of perjury that I am a U.S. Citizen/ Entity". My finance person wont take the time research this. Any Canadian vendors here that deal with U.S. companies that know what forms I need completed so we can pay the bills and be able to order more merchandise? Thanks! ETA: We got the answer from another vendor. For future reference it's a W8-BEN form. |
