In December 2014 I asked for some advice about visiting Kalispell and GNP and there were a ton of great responses from several folks here.
My wife and I decided to come back to the area for another vacation this year. We were able to drive completely through GNP all the way to St. Mary lake and it was absolutely incredible. Here's a few of the photographs I took, and yes, I am aware that there are rules. I played with saturation and contrast on several levels so you'll see a great deal of difference in the finished photos. 
I wish we had mountains like these at home. |

Glad you folks had a good time. Great pic! All those scenes are familiar. Those of us who live these parts must remind ourselves how lucky we are. Hope you return again. My last deployment to Afghanistan did that for me. Come back to the Flathead, you saw only a small portions of the park but likely missed Flathead lake, the Bob, and a ton of other things we enjoy (and not take for granted) around here. |

We did drive past the Flathead lake on our way to Polson only to get a meal at Cherries. The food there was excellent as we remember from last year.
The drives were beautiful as always, and my wife and I have considered looking at property up here as we both love the mountains. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and we are flying back home today as I have to be at work tomorrow. By the time we get to our front door, it'll be past midnight and my alarm will be going off at 0715. I'm a glutton for punishment.
