In enacting Constitutional Carry, both West Virginia and Idaho now join other permitless carry states which include Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Maine, Vermont, Wyoming, and most of Montana.

| Outside city limits and outside a logging camp you don't need a permit to conceal here. There are also exemptions for needing a permit if you are engaged in an activity that firearms are normally carried. I believe Idaho was similar. Now it is going to be like Wyoming in that residents won't need a permit to conceal anywhere guns can legally be carried. |
