Howdy Gents, So, I've been in Kalispell for a bit and I am interested in your opinions about Nemo. I know that there are quite a few of you that have worked in the gun biz and it is my opinion that the guys on the MT HTF are a knowledgeable crowd. So, tell me...what has been your experience with Nemo, if any? If you are reluctant to openly post, please feel free to IM me. So far, my understanding from talking to some of the local gun people that I have met is that Nemo has a hard time selling their product in Montana because of cost and QC issues (that is as diplomatic as I can put it). I have met some gun guys locally who have been rather forthright about mainly the latter (QC issues), to the point that one even said that in his shop they stopped carrying the line completely. What say you? Keep The High Ground, G p.s. the main reason I am asking is that I would really love to have a "Made In Montana" AR...so, what other options do I have? thanks again |
| I have my FFL and have heard nothing but good things but i also live in the flat land 600 miles from kalispell lol so i only hear from other FFLs and a buddy that owns one of the rifles. I sure would like to own one of those 300's pretty bad. Other than that thats all i got but they sure are pretty spendy. |
| I shot both their 5.56 and .308 ARs at a range day last year and really liked them. Of course they were "demo" guns, best foot forward and all that. I really liked the triggers and when I asked specifically about that I was told they were Giselles. I'm not sure if that's "stock" or added for the show off purpose. Both rifles hit where I was aiming at the 100 yard line. |
