The heat and humidity is definitely taking me some getting used to. I'm just glad my subdivision has a community pool that turns into a big party on Saturdays.

Just got done mowing the 3 acres of yard (not lawn). I live in the sticks so "lawn" isn't classy enough to describe the pasture I call a yard.

I've got another 15 to bush-hog, but that can wait.

I am lucky to get to do that as well except for the bush-hogging.  I have learned that the ants in Mississippi are terrible because we don't have that many in Tennessee.

No, good for you. It was 105 in the house today.I will run the cooling beast tomorrow.



Damn I hate season one down here. For those that don't know we have three season's . Hot, Christmas, and winter for a month or so.

For what it is worth, I'm up in Yankeeland this week. I was at Army War College yesterday in Eastern Pennsylvania. 94 degrees and just as humid as Mississippi.

We better enjoy these few days, July will hit big time. Be late September before 80's for high's again.
