Although TTBOMK it has never been adjudicated, I would operate under the belief that MA would rule the same as the Feds did (BATFE Tech Branch ruled on this back during the Clinton Ban) that ONLY those lowers which were sold as complete guns (or kitted as such) with evil features qualify legally as "pre-ban". A list of said S/Ns exist here in the document archives.

If it qualifies, yes it is worth a lot more than a new lower. Prices seem to vary from ~$300-750 for a pre-ban lower. Personally I find it ridiculous as I bought a complete Colt pre-ban at auction for a bit less than $1K last Fall here in MA.

ETA: My winning bid price was actually $750, but the 18% buyer premium and 6.25% sales tax pushed it up to almost $1K.

Agree with above. If it is a qualified Pre-ban then it would fetch a premium price here in MA.

I'm pretty well versed on pre ban qualifiers, this was a complete rifle AR-15A2 Govt Carbine SN GC0099xx. It's small pin and has no block. It was my Holy Grail and I paid for it. Then I dressed it up. Listed.
