Pretty good gun Shop in Newport which is SE of there called Newport Trading post. Not a lot to do around St. Albans though.

Devils head in St. Albans
Moxie falls for certain. That is in the forks, one hour from St. Albans. On rte 201 in Moscow, turn onto station road by the elementary school and check out wyman dam. 201 up to jackman and then route 15 to rockwood is very scenic and continue to squaw mountain and Greenville to make a big loop would be a very scenic ride with plenty of opportunity to see moose anywhere. Also the b52 crash site on elephant mountain just east of Greenville. I know those aren't all in St. Albans, but they are definitely all worth seeing. |

Read somewhere that access to the B-52 site will be secured for quite some time due to logging. Not sure if the details but probably worth a google search if you are thinking of going.

Had a great time in Maine. Visited Arcadia, Ft. Knox, did a bunch of fishing, and the Newport gun shop. Folks everywhere were super friendly. We have discussed booking the place again now, for next year.
