I currently have a BDS simple stacker which looks like this http://www.bdstacticalgear.com/pd-bds-tactical-simple-stacker-chest.cfm
What I'm wondering if any one has any experience with this product http://www.afmo.com/Condor-Modular-Chest-Set-p/686-00193.htm Im looking for a chest rig that has clips in the from to be able to put it on myself. The BDS rig I have no has them on the sides, and is difficult to put them on myself. Thus not being good for a SHTF, and having to bug out. I'm a little skeptical about the condor rig because of the price. I'm worried about it being made out of cheap material, and being a waste of money. Personally I'am not a fan of the vest set up. Its a little big to bulky for me, and I'm looking for something that could breath a little. Im also in the market for either a whole new plate carrier which I rather not do because of the price. Or a new cumber bun. Im currently running a USMC scaleable plate carrier. I like the 5.11 tactical one. and thoughts? thanks guys |

Condor gear is made in China, I wouldn't recommend it.
Check out the TAG Marine Galidator chest rig: http://www.tacticalassaultgearstore.com/marinegladiatorchestrigwithbib.aspx It's a similar design to the Condor one you linked to, the buckles are on the side but I have one and find it easily to put on quick. If you don't mind ACU pattern it is only $67. |

I'm looking for something with clips in the front so I can put it on my self. I find the side clips difficult to put on myself Check out the Tactical Tailor 2-piece MAV: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/mavbody2piece.aspx They also make a "Fight Light" version that is lighter and less expensive. |
