| Where does everyone get their reloading supplies at? i finally took the plunge and will start to reload but the more i read up on the supplies, when it comes to the primers and powder unless you order a large quantity you get killed with the hazmat fees. Where can you get these supplies locally? |
| i just tried asking that question here a week or so ago. the answer ended up being where i always get my reloading supply, pa gun show. butches gun world and bobs little sport shop has some powder primers but i dont think they have bullets. the gun rack has bullets. none of them sell anything at as good of prices as the gun show. bullets you can order from gunbroker or other web sites. |
| Those prices seem pretty good. very comparable to the online prices except no shipping and hazmat. What shows do you attend in PA? the only one that i had heard of was the fort washington/valley forge. I'm close to philly so i dont mind traveling a little bit to get my supplies. btw what reloader do you use? |
| i went to the oaks show and anotherone. i cant really remember. i started off with a lee 4 hole turrent and i still use it and love it, i would recommend it to anyone getting into reloading to start with it and you will still use it after you upgrade. i bought my self a hornady LNL AP for christmas and ive been getting used to that. its alot faster when it comes to pistol rounds. for .223 i still size/deprime/prime on the lee. if your geting into it and need a little help i wouldnt mind you sound close to where i live. when i got into reloading about two years ago..... or was it 3, a member from here helped me out alot and i wouldnt mind returning the favor to someone. |

Where can you get these supplies locally? If your near the Farmingdale area stop in at Salomons. Gene always has the best prices. Cheyenne in Robbinsville has primers and powder too but the prices are on the high side. If you want to reload pistol, there is a guy in Toms River who makes and sells lead bullets. Jacketed bullets are best to buy on the net from various places. PM me if you need any help getting started. |

| only a 100? that sucks, I had one K small rifle get wet in a flood, just read that they should be fine, a guy had them submerged in a basement after a fire and 7000 no miss fires. I need about 5K more small pistol...it is crazy, I just had a friend ask about bartering for some reloading supplies....duh...no, said no before and that will not change, told you 2 years ago to stock up....only one person has a chance...and she would have to be the next MsWind |

Right now all prices suck Not really. Depends on where you shop.I paid $18.95 a pound for H335 and $34.00 a thousand for CCI #41 primers just yesterday at Salomans. Gene has always been more then fair for the last 25 years I've been a customer. You would be hard pressed to find better pricing then that. |
