You guys have anyone you'd trust on a possibly high dollar Luger appraisal? Preferably as close to Salem county as possible but for this gun I'd drive where ever. Story is, the girls father worked under Eisenhower in battalion HQ and snagged one of the Lugers removed from Hilter's compound along with a holster rig,  some silverware, and other stuff. Supposedly she has proof of her father working in HQ with Eisenhower and proof that the gun was one of Hitler's own. Obviously, I would have blown it off as the chances of it not being a fake are slim to none but my gpop who was in the war is super excited about it, and at 89 years old not much gets him excited anymore....so I told him I would ask around.

If it can be verified as belonging to Hitler you're probably looking at 6 figures. A few years ago an engraved Kreighoff belonging to Hitler sold at auction for around $140,000 IIRC.

Yeah I have a Luger that the old man at Hauges appraised a while back and I later found out he was a bit low....Trying to be real selective with who I get to look at this one. With my luck I'll blow her off and find out later that there was a mix up in the inventorying and this is actually the gun Hitler killed himself with and its worth a bazillion dollars lol
