anyone know what the prices are like at the shows... are they good discounts on ammo and ar parts? or is this just a place to see different things. Don't expect any bargains at gun shows anymore. They are few and far between. They are good for impulse buys and instant gratification. There are a few fairly priced ammo dealers there as well as T&T Reloading. You can save on shipping and UPS hazmat charges. That in itself is worth the price of admission to me. |

As soon as he found out I was from NJ he told me he wouldn't sell me anything and that "they are illegal in NJ".
So I walked a few tables down and bought a Maadi from a dealer who was familiar with NJ laws, knew it was legal, and was more than happy to sell it to me. |

Same thing at the Leesport gun show a few years ago. Found a NJ Legal WASR at a table for $300 and the guy told me "Youre from NJ? Yeah i dont sell guns to you people?" But its a post ban rifle. "I dont care". haha ok mother fucker. Went to the other side and found an SLR-95 brand new for $600. Went back and said "Thanks for turning me down bud, spend twice as much on a rifle twice as better. You can keep your junk" Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan was that dude pissed. But yeah, most PA dealers know whats up but some are paranoid as fuck and will not sell you certain things or they just have no clue about NJ laws or misunderstand them. Want real confusion? Go to the SAR Machine Gun show in York PA and you will see dealers from all kinds of states who will sell you anything because they are unfamiliar with NJ law. Pretty dumb |

Question.. WOuld these guys sell me an acr if my ffl picked it up sunday when he goes? or do they have problems with NJ ffl's also? They may or may not, it depends on the dealer you are buying from and how well they know NJ laws and how to work with them. As we all know, there are alot of companies out there like CTD and AIM surplus that wont ship anything to a NJ FFL even if FFL's are exempt and would neuter it anyway. Your best bet is you have your FFL talk to the dealer face to face or on the phone right then and there to try and convince him if hes being a jerkoff. I dont see a reason why he wouldnt sell it to you if your dealer actually went to the show and picked it up in person. On that note, how far are you from Chalfont/Doylestown PA? Anything i buy that isnt NJ legal, i send it to Sean aka Hemcon9 of CDI Custom Knife and Gun and he makes it NJ legal for me. Then i go and pick it up. Great guy, great prices and really nice to chat with. Thats of course if whatever dealer wont ship it to your NJ FFL. But.....you also dont know for sure if there will even BE any ACR's at the show. Im sure there will be a few but idk about $1500 again |

im about 1 1/2 hours from him... not to bad.. so the dealer would ship to him??? if i find one of course. All you gotta do tell him you want to have it shipped to So and So in PA for some custom work. Dont have to tell him what for. Pay the man, give Seans contact and his approval and you are good to go. Dont even need to mention that you are from NJ because you dont need to fill out paperwork until you get to Sean so its no ones business but his. Think of it as if you were to buy a gun online, its the same exact thing. As long as you give the gun show dealer Seans contact info, they will take care of the rest. I would also call Sean first and make sure he knows too. If you need his info let me know and i will IM it to you. |
