It's a Dancing Banana Moment !

The "Certificate of Title" to my Toyota Tacoma has arrived today, no more friggin' payments...........................that is if I keep my boney ass  out of those dealerships.

The odometer reading is 180,000 + miles & the truck is still running great.

Congrats on the bank no longer holding the title to the truck Bob!

But according to O'Blowme and his ilk, there is no such thing as personal property, so ...

That Toyota Tacoma now belongs to the collective, ...

and I'd like to reserve it to transport water-filled jugs to the Blast as SJSC on the 15th
(You can drive, if you want)

It won't be worth any dollar amount after SHTF. I'll trade you two cases of 5.56 for it when the time is right.

Hey what year is this beast?

I'm pretty sure Toyota trucks have a lifetime warranty on the underbody against rust.

If thats so, just drive it until the motor pops, then do a swap on it with something V8 from one of the newer trucks. Should be straight forward.

Actually, the truck will be as valuable as my BR or 870 in saving my life. In a SHTF scenario, the Taco is going to be relied on to get my ass out of dodge and into the rural areas of PA.  Hang on to your 2 cases of 5.56, I may need you to cover my six.

The Truck is an 2002 PreRunner Ext Cab. I refinanced it in '05 to a lower interest rate in times of financial difficulty, I did save some money even though it took longer to pay it off. The Tacoma is a tough and reliable truck, I am not afraid to put miles on the beast , 20,000 + a year average

I am planning on buying a crate engine and store it till the current one craps out. I like the 2.7 L 4 banger that is in the truck now, probably will buy an identical one.
