I think I'm going to skip this one. Within the last 4 weeks I've bought 2 rifles, a shotgun, and an ACOG. My BRD is worsening rapidly and my wallet needs a break

Pretty empty on Sat. AM. Harrisburg show was this weekend too. Got what I needed in reloading stuff and was out by 10:30

Not much action at all. People didn't seem to be buying. Didn't see any bargains at all.

I just came back from the show, no lines, you can walk freely between rows but I cant believe there are dealers at the show asking $7-800 for WASR 10's, $995 for PSL $600 for RC k98's etc.
There was also some dealers that they had some great prices(not cheper than online), the dealer towards the exit had PSL for $595, Yugo ak $499, Rem 870 for $200(used)
I start become a believer now that it will be hard to find a deals on the shows

There hasnt been deals at gun shows for 10 years. Most dealers there are shop owners that are just looking to make the norm off retail prices. If i was one id do the same thing. They are just trying to make their money just like you are trying to save it. Shits not a charity.

The places you will most likely get deals from are the smaller gun shows out in the neck of the woods where mom and pop shops go to sell their collection of used rifles. Ive gotten some good deals on old military bolt actions and brand new (still 30 years old) lever actions that were in excellent condition. New manufactures forget about it

I had a pretty damn good time Sunday. I brought my best friend and she had fun shopping for knives. She is new to shooting, never fired a gun in her 24 years before I took her to an indoor range. I wondered if she would be bored but instead she wanted every pink or shiny handgun she saw. I ended up getting some black powder for my dad, bought a Z.E.R.F. shirt for myself (great guys at that table, had to be arfcommers I was the old fart with the gray beard with the cute little Italian girl) and a Kalasnikitty shirt for my friend. It was nice for a change to be able to see what was on the tables and not have to wade through all of the people. Oh yeah, I finally got a wood stock for one of my ARs. I have been wanting one for years and couldn't resist. Life is good.
