A very close friend of the family died this morning, and I'm trying to find the closest airport to Holmdel Township.

If you mean an airport that you can fly in to on a commercial flight, I don't think Allaire (now Monmouth Executive) is going to cut it. If you have your own corporate jet, then yeah - but commercial from TN... Newark Int'l is going to be your best bet... about 40 miles away.

Newark and Philly are your best bets, although JFK and LaGuardia are also close if that's the only ones you can get. Newark is closest and easiest to get to Holmdel from (about 35 minutes), Philly about an hour. If you go into Newark, Once you exit the airport follow the signs for the Nj Turnpike South. Get off at exit 11, Follow the signs for the Garden State Parkway South, get off that at exit 117. the road will split after the exit toll, keep to your right (Rt 35) and that will take you to the center of Holmdel. |
