Did any of you get a Letter from the NJ DEC, (Is that what it is called?), stating more than a few different ways that cross bow hunting was available to the handicapped? The way it was stated it sounded like if you were a bow hunter with a bad shoulder and your Dr. would say you were "handicapped" to Bow hunt you could apply for a cross bow permit.
Now I could be reading into the letter but it seemed like a real possibility. My shoulder hurts, I have some rotator cuff problems and MRI to prove it.

it's a mute point, this year Crossbow Crossgun hunting is legal for all Don't insult us real bowhunters by calling those things a bow. It has a trigger and a scope, that's a gun in my book. And to sit there with it in full draw? That's the whole challange of bowhunting, to get up and ready to shoot. Plus now all of Pumpkin Platoon has a weapon they can use during our season. |

It's got a string and a springy thing that propels pointy sticks with feathers.... it's a bow. Get over it. And while we're nit-picking.... points are hardly ever mute (as in silent) - they are, however, often MOOT - as in meaningless. Mute/moot, loose/lose... I'm not sure which causes me to grind my teeth more. |
