Can anyone suggest a good place for a guided first pheasant hunt for my wife and myself ? In either NJ or PA ? thanks , any suggestions for items needed besides shotgun ? I think we will use the U/O shotties we have, how about shot size, lead or steel ?

iv always gone to bent creek in alentown centeral NJ. They had a decent price and the dogs were real good. Also you should be fine using lead shot as long as your on privite property[/quot Bent Creek is the first place i came across on my google search, was it a decent place ? Last year my friend almost got his head blown off by an 80 year old half blind fool, at Colliers Mills, i can do without that . |

| yea iv had a good time every time i went there at bent. Plenty of action. Also yea stay away from the mill unless you know of spots that no one goes to and you have a good dog. That the only time ill go there. Every saturday when im in the treestand not far from those fields it is constant shots from light break to around 10 and i cant imagine it being a safe place or enjoyable. |
