I know there are a lot of firearms banned by name in NJ, such as the SPAS 12 (because it's so much more deadly than any other shotgun!).
The other day someone told me that the Ruger 10-22 was banned. I couldn't believe it and still don't, but I figured I would ask. Is it? Or is there any type of restriction that he might be confusing? |

Another question that I had: I read somewhere that in NJ a reloader isn't allowed to have more than 8 lbs. of powder. Any truth to that? Allowed by WHO? His mother? Absolutely NOT TRUE If it was true, there's a shitload of us here who'd be in heaps of trouble!! |

Not true... you're allowed up to 36lbs. of smokeless powder, and up to 5lbs. of black powder. To store more than that requires a permit. The statute is 21:1A-133 |

Isn't that what Muffin thought? i see what you did there. Although, stop hanging out with whomever is feeding you all this bullshit. hang out here instead. That's funny because Tom proved some people in this very thread are spreading bullshit too
FWIW, I read the 8lb. limit on either Glocktalk or Sigforum, apparently it was a mistake because the limit is a little higher. |
