[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Driving a quad in NJ?

Hey arfcom,

Over the weekend I saw dirtbikes and quads driving in Wharton State Forest and the rangers were not doing anything. It was my understanding that I cannot drive a quad in a state forest so has something changed or do I only need to register it with the DMV and have the insurance card? (along with helmet) FInally, can someone drive their PA registered quad in this state?

i know that enduro bikes are legal in state forest. quads i am not sure about, you would have to see if u can register it . i know they have dirt races down in batsto off the main rd. where were you at ?

Are you sure it was Wharton? There's alot of trails around here.
