I haven't been able to find a definite law regarding hunting coyotes in the state of NJ.  I know most hunting is restricted to bows, muzzleloaders, or .22 caliber rifles if it is a centerfire weapon.  However, is there anything we can hunt, such as coyote using an ar15?

I could be very wrong seeing as I haven't hunted in almost 15 years, but I thought the only rifle hunting you could do in NJ was with a muzzle loader.

I am by no means an expert but after looking at the NJ guide i would say no.  I know .22 can be used when trapping.
