| I am planning a trip to Ireland,I would love to know what there is to do. I dont want to do a guided tour. I found out my family started in Mayo. Some guys say kiss some stone and hang out in the pubs. I am thinking the pub thing sounds good, also is 7 days enough time to take in Ireland? |

Greetings Ireland is an awesome place to visit, especially in Summer and particularly if you get decent weather. Dublin is a great city to spend a couple of days but aside from that I heartily recommend West Cork (there are lots of other nice places, I'm just picking my personal favourite). West Cork is an absolutely stunning place with a great feel. Very nice people, great food & drink (especially if you like seafood & Murphy's stout Hope you have a great trip

Avoid Limerick at all costs, it's not known as "Stab City" without a good reason !! However go to; Killarney The Ring of Kerry The Dingle penninsula Galway Westport The Aran Islands Couldn't agree more with this selection, Kilarney though can get full of Yanks trying to find their roots.
I'll get my coat! |
