Gent's we're going to put a bid in for an ARFCOM shoot at Lydd on Serial 45 in April. Hopefully the weather will be a little better then and we can have some fun. I'll confirm dates when we get a notification from Landmarc.
What days would suit most people, weekday or weekend? Cheers |

Will there be more than 4 places this time,,,, ![]() Yep, it was restricted to 4 places last time as it wasn't an ARFCOM shoot, it was a club shoot that we could invite a few guests to. This will be a dedicated ARFCOM shoot as we did last year. I think we limited it to 20, so that will probably be the benchmark this time. |

Right Gent's,
I've spoken to the range booking office. We need to give them a selection of dates in April and they'll let us know which we can have. So what I need are some suggestions and then we can get a date that suits as many as possible. What about: Thursday 19th, Friday 20th. Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th for starters. Post here and I'll collate the choices. Cheers |

Ok Gent's, I'm going to try and get this going.
So far the following have show interest: DaddyPig Lynk M1154 Timlad Hsurf B_R Little Fraggle Bolthead LV426 With those numbers it would cost approx £40 each for the day. If we get more people then the price will go down. Assuming no one else comes forward are you all happy with that price? We're probably looking at Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th. Cheers |

May well be down that way on 6th with the wife....... however, the mention of going shooting may well result in the removal of a certain part of my anatomy.... ![]() She can come along and have a go. I can rustle up one of the club guns for her if you like? Naah, get her a couple of loaves, a butter knife, butter, ham, cheese, a kettle, some milk, sugar and tea bags. We might as well put her to good use

I could of made the first dates, but likewise bank holiday weekend, I'm away for it Thanks anyway Andy Ok Gent's a couple of things: Firstly there's a bunch of new people on here since we last had one of these shoots (we love you all by the way) so I should have explained it a bit better Serial 45 at Lydd is a Live Firing Marksmanship Training Multi Activity Range. In effect it's a field firing range with reactive targets from 100m to 1100m, there are also various tank hulks that can be shot at. In addition we can use 2 floors of the tower. My clubs organises the shoot and you just come along with guns and ammo and enjoy yourselves. The only restrictions are that you must have an NRA safe shooter card! To try and get a date that suits as many people as possible let me know a) if you seriously want to come along and b) what dates in May you CANNOT make. I'll get everyones choices and then pick the date that suits the majority. If you want to see what going loud and bringing out the big guns really means come along! Cheers |
