I currently tumble my brass, and it's OK but I have been thinking about getting an ultrasonic cleaner. I know a few members here have them and just wanted to know how you are getting on with them?

US is ok but STM is the way to go.

I found US a bit of a PITA, and then bought a normal tumbler - much happier with that.
STM sounds interesting, but the results I'm getting from walnut are good enough for me.

I only use the ultrasonic for cleaning the re-sizing crud off the cases.
It doesn't seem to shift serious oxidation marks in the same way a tumbler does, but will clean general shooting marks from the cases.

Ultrasonics are fine and do clean the caes well, but for the best restults I have to say the Stainles Tumbling Media in a Thumbler's Tumbler gives exceptional results.
