How bad is airsoft gear, is just ghey or does it fall apart if you put a real gun in there? Depends....that's like asking if cars are crap.... some are, some aren't... I acquired some airsoft kit (gunbags, attachements and bits and bobs) off a bloke who was giving up shooting and seemed to favour the cheaper end of the market. It was mostly crap and fell apart. However I still have some bits in a box somewhere that were fine and have stood the test of time. Would be interesting to see if the is bag in the OP is any good and how it compares to the genuine article. I bought an Eberlestock after seing Bradders' and seeing how well it worked. I'm happy with it. I suppose you'd have to compare the two together to be able to get a better opinion. The zips and stitching tend to be weak points and the quality if the material may well be different. I saw some Magpul PTS vs the real Magpul kit my rifles wear. IMHO I thought that the PTS stuff was bloody awful and noticeably less "solid" by comparison. I suppose it depends on your budget and what you are used to. |

I wonder how much a genuine Eberlestock bag costs the factory to make? About the same as the airsoft one, at a guess. I very much doubt there's much difference in labour costs and what difference there is in material costs can't be as much as the difference in retail price. |

That airsoft price seems too cheap for reasonable quality materials & stitching. The labour costs are going to be tiny, and the material costs for the 'real' stuff won't be huge amount. Shipping from the far east to the USA can't be that much per item in quantity - I would guess there's just a large margin on them to cover the US side of the operation. |

Nick Believe me, I have seen zaz's bag, it is labled 5.11, it is unbelievable quality for the money !!!! It is functional and very well made, I was very surprised. |

I had a guy come round here with one like that marked up 5.11.
Can't remember who he was though. I now realise that 5.11 don't make one, but I must say that I thought it was a nasty copy of the original. I was told how much a decent copy in quality materials woulod cost out of the factory, and it is considerably more than those Ebay ones
