Greetings from across the pond!  In years of reading some of the incredible news items from the Daily Mail, it's finally occured to me to inquire the opinions of some Brit's as to the publication known as the Daily Mail.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ushome/index.html

I have to say that in the past there have been some whoppers in the headlines and I have to ask what is this publication compared to here in the states?
Is this a legitimate news publication respected for its professionalism and zealous search for the truth?  Or is this more suitable for lining the cages of birds and tabletops of hair stylist shops for the Blue haired ladies to pass their time with?   In attempting to not offend, but I'm believing the latter and have so for years.

Just curious of any enlightenment you would care to provide me. Perhaps I'll sleep better in the reassurance that my thoughts can be confirmed as correct on this matter.
