Any aid drives going on in England to assist in the recovery from this one?  Any first-responders mobilized to head south & lend a hand?  Looks like it could be the storm of the century.

Not that I now of.

My Brother is south of there, but he's fine.

The poor old Aussies haven't had a good time of it recently. The flooda, the cyclone, the Ashes and Mark Webber not winning the F1 world champs

Glad to hear your brother is fine.

Apparently the area damaged is known as the "gateway to the great barrier reef" or something.  Hope that the reef & associated tourist locals are not too damaged; I know that they depend on tourist money along many parts of that coast.  Tough times for Australia, for sure.
