Just had an e-mail from Land Rover marketing. They're donating the 1 millionth Range Rover to a H4H charity auction. Hopefully it will sell for a bucket load of money!
Land Rover invites you to take part in an historic auction with a very pointed purpose – to raise valuable funds for Help for Heroes, the charity for wounded UK armed services personnel.
Tuesday, 16 November, bid on the 1 millionth Range Rover You can own this landmark vehicle, a black Range Rover Autobiography, built at the same Solihull factory where three generations of the Range Rover have been produced since June 1970. To be in with a chance to win this fantastic piece of automotive history, log onto www.realradio.co.uk, www.rockradio.co.uk or www.smoothradio.co.uk and place your bids in the online auction within the next 15 days. Your chance to make a difference for our heroes To celebrate the production of the 1 millionth Range Rover, we donated the vehicle to Help for Heroes. The charity is in turn auctioning this unique Range Rover, courtesy of the GMG Radio Help For Heroes Day. Proceeds will be used for the practical and direct provision of aid for wounded service people and their families. http://www.rockradio.co.uk/station/help-for-heroes-auction-2010-bzxf/bzxfsfci/lot-225/ Just over 90k so far! |

It's a good cause But that thing will end up where all Range Rovers do, parked on the zigzags of a zebra crossing outside a school ! ![]() Some do get down & dirty you know.... Yeah, behind the 800yd firing point on Stickledown ![]()
It's the 300 yard car park I'm a little worried about now..... Some of those puddles must be 6 inches deep now.... |
