just had my renewal through. Apparently the new process being brought in next year and trialed now  is to have the 'visit' done via phone if there are no changes. Quick and easy, answered a few questions and job done. Completed in about 10 minutes during my lunch break.↲

Did the club fac renewal a little while ago.
Police arrived at 7.05am and were on their way by 07.18, and that was with several questions from me!

Said it was more a formality than anything

Good news.  Should free up resources to help them deal with more pressing issues.

Good on them

Still had to fill out the form and send it all off to the NRA for their club bit but then all I got was a call and job's done.

F101 is the next thing to go and hopefully be replaced by a combined shotgun and firearm form.
