BBC London's learnt that a man carrying a laser gun on a tube train, led to armed police being to Waterloo station on Wednesday morning.

Armed Police were called after members of the public reported seeing a man carrying a gun and wearing bullet proof vest on a tube train.

Infact, the man was an employee of a "laser tag" game company on his way to work wearing his laser gun and kit.

British Transport Police have spoken to him "very sternly" ...

If its anything like the Quasar that I used to play as a kid, it is a bright red outfit with flashing lights everywhere... Not really akin to a bullet proof vest!

I should think the gun looked pretty un realistic too!

Maybe, but to the unitiated, ie most of the general public, the body array might well have been mistaken for a suicide bomber's vest, and they probably didn't look beyond that..........
