Well, after about 10 years ( in fact it is so old I have forgotten ) my trusty PC has started to show signs of dying.
Too much visiting "questionable sites", a general "learn as you go along" approach to computing and a "tish and pish, I dont need to buy expensive anti virus software when I can download a free one" attitude has not helped. But I am amazed it lasted this long. Still works but running increasingly slower. So, to coincide with the house move and in keeping with downsizing, I went for a laptop. Just spent 2 hours transferring 10 years of documents and photos etc - was considering an iPad but went with an ordinary laptop instead. I imagine the transfer process from PC to iPad would have been a nightmare. And its all protected with proper anti virus thingys now courtesy of Mr Norton |
