[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trigger Springs

As some of you know I have a Spikes .223 M4 rifle. The one thing that really lets it down though is the standard trigger, its simply far too heavy for my liking.

I have seen there are some nice 2 stage triggers in the £200 region, but is there any way of improving the standard trigger with a spring kit etc? Anyone recommend me anything? Lighter the better!

JP Enterprises yellow trigger spring, will only set you back less than a tenner. You'll still have the slack and creep but it'll be lighter. I have the whole JP trigger kit on my rifle with the yellow spring and it's brill.

I see Midway do the spring set for £11 or so. A friend has this kit on his and says its good, just wondering if there were any other cheap options?

I'm pretty sure the JP spring is the best option. The full kit only cost me £130. Remember MidwayUK will charge £8 to send a spring so you might wanna order other stuff too.

I think JP is the cheapest option for a complete trigger kit, and is nice too. I have one in my lower for my V22, but it worked equally well with my .223 BAR upper until it got it's own lower..

Well it's not as nice as my Gieselle but it's a massive improvement on a factory trigger and excellent value.............for those of us who have to consider such factors
