Yes - very good.

Saw it on DVD - only £1 ( shop bought quality )  from an enterprising young salesman in a remote part of Brazil

Liked it so much that I went to see it later when released at the cinema.

And tomorrow - I have free ticket for The Green Zone. Looking forward to that.

I loved the encounter with the British.

The yanks were a bit hyped up ( I am sure I would be too ) when they first came across them but the cool understated response from Fienes was great.

Yep they really made the Brit's look good eh.

Typical Hollywood 'lets show up the Brit's & make us look good' bollocks.

One film that definitely didn't live up to the hype, 7/10.

I think I must have missed the point or the good bit.  I thought it was over hyped, reminded me of Jarhead which was equally crap.  I watched the remake of the Charge of the Light Brigade starring John Gielgud (dear dear johnny), Harry Andrews and Trevor Howard.  Now that is a decent war moving and historically correctish.
