While in London my brother-in-law and I had a few pints at the Friend in Hand pub in Bloomsbury.  Is there a better bitters.  It was on draft and very good.  The problem is it is onlt marketed down the east coast of the USA to New York.  Had Newcastle and Smithwick but am still looking.

If you're still in London...?

See if you can find any of these, they still freight them down by dray wagon once a week...

Bitters don't travel great distances very well..... it has to be kept at room temperature for the wee beasties inside to stay healthy...

Back in the late 70's and 80's when I was living in the Midlands I used to drink Brew X1.  I believe is was an M&B brand? Can you still get it??
