I won the mcqueens with a 59 ex 60. Also won the "x" class advancing man smallbore, with a 294 ex 300, and my buddy and myself came 3rd [team] in the 4/5/600 yards "f" class. Excellent weekend. Loads of ale, and curry.

Great shooting, especially the McQueens - that's an incredible achievement!

What were you using?

I won the mcqueens with a 6.5x47 rpa, i built myself, and the advancing man with a custom buckmark. i could see the last offending round in the mcqueens....its was a tantalising few mil, just outside the "v". I was lucky, we shot it at 4 pm, the wind had dropped to virtually nothing, and the mirage had dissapeared. Having said that, the conditions were the same for all those who followed us too.
Dont think i,ll ever get near again. I usually manage 54,s ish.

I was shite.......spent too much time trawling the stands contemplating options for my .308 project and failed to give the shooting the attention it deserved. My worst time was when I think I probably set a record for the fastest wood plate shoot (LBP) ever seen at Bisley. I coudln't figure out WTF was going on so asked to take a sighter, only to find I was shooting some 18" low. I was so disgusted with myself that I binned it, only to later find that the sight was loose. Still my fault, check your kit and all that....................

Outstanding - well done.

I never seem to break through the 54 barrier - usually 53 or 54.

Well then you should do what I do, don't shoot.

Merely threaten to turn up and enjoy the fact that the very mention of my name will send ickle Tyga's big mate from Bodmin apopleptic......results in a win every time

English isn,t my strong point. I spent too much time at school, in the metal, and woodwork rooms, messing on the lathe,s.

Sorry to be so naive but what is Mcqueens? The name makes me think of pink tutus for some reason... or Ford Mustang fastbacks come to think of it.

I didn't know you shot the McQueen off a bipod. I thought you had to hold your rifle.

every day you learn another thing.

Must be a respect for disabled persons thing A sniper using only the sling for support earns my respect but no points for survival skills
