Too expensive and to late, and has a lot of non ruger standard parts rails, sights and mags that have probably pushed the price up some. I think that ruger long since lost the plot.

Another company that finally realized what it was missing out on, just like HK & S&W making AR's or HK & Sig making 1911's.
I doubt it will be any better than anyone else's, but will still find a Market.
It must be said though that Ruger has a large foundry/forge, and has been making AR receivers for some time, or so I've been told.

The more AR15 parts that are put out there the better. I've never liked Ruger as company, it would seem odd to have a Ruger AR15 though.
