No charges are to be bought against a Greek lorry driver who was arrested after a man was fatally stabbed during an alleged attempted robbery.

The Crown Prosecution Service said there was insufficient evidence to charge Vasilius Nikolakopoulos, 41, over the death of Dean Skidmore.

Mr Skidmore, 36, of Brierley Hill, West Midlands, died on 26 February after the incident in Coleshill, Warwickshire.

Two men and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with attempted robbery.

They are also accused of assault with intent to rob.

The charges relate to an alleged attempted robbery on a lorry at Station Road Industrial Estate.

And rightly so - they tried to rob him; he acted in self-defense. Case closed!
