Spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Radway Green looking at some possible work for my company.
There's certainly no shortage of brass or bullets there, they make about 2,500,000 rounds a day. Saw the whole process from start to finish, very impressive, only thing now is to find the staff shop. One thing did come to light is that they might be open to a factory visit, they've done it before and may do it again, if we ask nicely, anyone interested. |

I'd be interested, whereabouts is it? Radway Green Cheshire actually 6 miles from my house, most of the old factory is now a Buisness Park
You can clearly see the factory as you go north on the M6 just after J16. Its only half a mile from the motorway Back to yours for tea and biscuits then |

I'm going to email my contact later today and ask the question, will let everybody know as and when I get an answer, fingers crossed they say yes. It would be good....they may poopoo the idea on the grounds of security......but it's worth a go....after all.. most of us are licensed to posess ammo Tightest securty Ive seen outside military installations was a cigarette factory.....tighter security than Heathrow Airport..

Inspected a sportswear retailer, they took details of your shoes before going staff side. Apparently visitors had been known to bin their old trainers and walk out with new ones from the stock room |

Sounds like a road trip is in order. Count me in. |

He does alot of work and consultancy for BAE systems. |
