Spent a very nice day today at Diggle trying Highpower, very enjoyable.

Big thanks to Phil for organising the day, and to Alan for showing me the way, hope its the first of many.

Will get some results posted soon...bit of a mad time at the mo....but thanks to those who came along for their support and to those who have helped us get the comps off the ground.

Looks like we will be looking to rin some more comps next year, so I'll try to arange the dates around the Bisley Highpower shoots.

Phil, Alan, Ronnie, Sheila and Mike.
Alan, who made all the targetry during the week, did not shoot.
Alan ran the comp, as he is only one of three Diggle members fully conversent with the course of fire, targets, and scoring

You ever considered becoming a motivational counselor Steve?

Very few turned up, lots of support in e-mails and phone calls before the event but if not many turn up on the day then so be it.

Heart of Oak is the Highpower representative at Diggle so if there are any future comps they will need to be organised through him

We gave it a go.

I'm glad you had a go, at least you tried.

It's a pity more people didn't have a go and I wouldn't like to think that it would've clashed with anything else and therefore diluted the prospective entries.

I don't see Mr Bottomley or any of the other heirarchy's names on there.....parhaps it isn't benchresty enough for them

We normally attract anywhere from a dozen (as yesterdays shoot at Bisley did) up to the mid 20's

Well done for trying 10/10

ETA: Apologies to Vince, as I now understand he did offer his support

Thanks.

Got a lot of support from people before the event, but quite a few had to drop out for personal reasons which can't be helped. We've all been there.

It was good experience.....there's a lot goes into organising these things.

Had a good shoot though, and got some good practice in on the prone unsupported 600yd reduced targets, so not a total loss.
