Think I read a bit about this on here some time back, thinking of re-finishing an old winchester in this kind of finish, can anyone recommend a good source of the product?

I'm sure one of the posters on here would love to tell you that his Dad stocks the product.

If you look on the Duracoat website there is a Certified Duracoat Finisher in the UK.
Its this guy:

James Clark
Jager Sporting Arms

I am thinking of re-finishing an old Winchester 44-40. I think browning/bluing will be the way to go but was looking at Duracoat as well :)

Thanks

ETA:

Anyone used duracoat? How thick a coating is it?

An example of Jaeger Sporting arms work HERE
I think that he colour matches the rifle & scope quite well.

I was chatting to James Yesterday. I've seen a lot of his work and It looks good. The duracoat is supposed to be the mutts nuts with not only rist resistance properties but also chemical resistance properties so those nasty masty cleaning chemcals won't leave any marks.

He's based about 15 minutes from Diggle Range so you could tie in your drop off/pick up with a shoot!!!
