Dear BBC
Thank you for spending lots of licence-fee payers money and making programmes like Top Gear.
And thank you for the spending more money on the online BBC iPlayer which allows non licence-fee payers (me) to watch said programmes free, gratis and for nothing.
And thanks to Channel 4 for their video-on-demand service (not that there's anything worth watching)

Nice one, they correctly ID'd my IP as a German one and wouldn't let me have a cabby.

Has anyone got a work around that I could use?

To access the iPlayer from Germany or other country you would need an 'open proxy' based in the UK. There is a thread about it here 'How to access BBC iPlayer from Germany.

I already get all my TV via torrents so nothing on iPlayer I would watch, even though I pay the ripoff license tax.

Thanks for the link, I just got back from the range, and will look into it later. Lonesniper how did you find the toytown forum?? I been a member of it although I hardly post on there. They are to posh for the likes of myself.
