Well, I sent my Rem 700 to Armalon to be 'modified'

Peter Sarony said it would be 4-6 weeks depending on proofing, and its back with me within 5 weeks, and I have to say I am very happy. He even repaired some scratches on the barrel FOC.

I was kept upto date with regular E mails and a couple of phone calls, and I am very impressed after hearing a couple of problems other people had, and no it wasn't a cancellation.

Its pictured here with a 10 shot M85 mag of which I have 4 (2 un moded) and I also have 3x20rd mags (cheers Dave) which have all been moded.

I will be having my .223 PSS converted sometime in the New Year.

Have you got no neck?

I have 3 Armalon conversions in the cabinet. 2 in .260 and one in .308
2 of them are in the UKEE.

Nice as they are, I don't see the mileage in getting the .223 converted as the 20" AR is a much better platform

ETA: I call them Armnaleg

I have a full-on Armalon PR in .308 & it's a great gun...always had very good timely service from Peter...but since getting my first AR it does seem to be gathering dust..

I have had both PSS's for 8 or 9 years and I use everything I own, I will use the
223 PSS when converted, as I 'plink' most weekends, and the lad does very well with it.

And I have a 20' AR which I also use

I have seen your rifles in the EE and was tempted but it was a cheaper option to have my own converted

Peter is a very good engineer. However, his people skills.....

I just don't know why he didn't go the AR route, since he used to shoot one pre '88

Well you know why its only taking the old Pasta Muncher that long to turn something round instaed of the usual  year or two...............................
Coz no Fu*ker wants to buy one of those as AR's are the only way to go.
