Today I spent at Bisley, freezing my nuts off.

I've never seen so many people in the carpark, or on the firing point with brewing equipment

..I spent part of it playing with M Pro 7, certainly different and seems to work well. Tastes crap in coffee but the copper solvent and bore gel is ok on ice cream..

..nice grips by the way, I expect you need them with that half-brick on top....

Mark, you should have been in my Regt., we all had our brew kit's at the ready, I wish I'd made a list or thirty of all of the places that I had brewed up in situ.

I spent the morning practicing DP1 & DP2 for the next comp's, another 250 9milly down range in the Alpha and Charlie zone's. The rest of the team wants me to buy a major factor pistol, but I'll be sticking with the G17 for the moment.

I'll be getting into the tri-gun thing in the near future...maybe not.

Planted a load of beech trees and spring bulbs, then walked the Labradors in a strong wind with occasional sleet showers. It's chilly in Aberdeen today. Thawed out by sizing, priming and reloading a heap of .223 cases. Refreshed self with can of Speckled Hen before dinner.

(Friday actually) I dressed up as Zorro.

Workmates christened me 'captain chaos' - personally I cannot see the resemblance.

Got the grips from Nill in Germany.

Apart from having to cut a hole for the 'extension' they fitted like a glove. Worth every penny.

If it's a shared sewer ( ie not just from your house)  then the  the local water board should foot the bill. I had to call out dynorod and they took one look at the sewer and asked which water board they should bill? Boy was  I a happy camper.

Bill for repairs so far is split between 5 of us...

They're coming back in the morning with a mini digger to excavate a collapsed chamber...

We are respopnsible until it reaches main sewer 25m away...

No the Tracker model won't fit the UK spec' Taurus. Our guns are basically a Model 66 (.357 is medium frame .44 is large frame). The grips that fit are on the website as Model 65 MD/LG Frame. If you look under this then go into details on any of thr grips it gives a list of the models they fit and the Model 66 is there. There's a screw through the side of the grips and a couple of pins to hold it all in place, and like I said before it was a perfect fit, the only necessary work cutting the hole for the rod!

BTW.....condolences on the sewer problem........

....was dozing on the sofa at 8.30 when the doorbell rang and it was 2 local plod that wanted to talk firearms.
More specifically, they wanted to give me a letter regarding the violent crime reduction bill and my responsibilities as a dealer regarding imitations, deacts and the like

I told them that as I don't dabble with that, it doesn't really affect me

Only 2 months late that's quite good. Most Forces still haven't told anyone about the changes under the Anti Social Behaviour Order Act and that's a few years old now...that one created @68,0000 crimes that haven't been detected yet.
