March is the last one until the Big event in July.

Our club has some practise days in July, but that's it until Autumn/winter

I didn't realise CSR was seasonal. Pick the coldest, wettest part of the year to run between firing points ,hmmmm.

Oh well, I suppose there's always the McQueen to have a crack at on 24th/25th March.

I am afraid it is all down to range space. We need a lot of safety space to be able to shoot run-downs and at different distances to the 2+10 TR crowd. The only way to get that space is to shoot in the 'off season'.

The NRA / NSC would loose to much money to let us do that in the 'high season'.

The 17 / 18 March is the next event. Details to follow....

Later in the year, we hope to be able to run some Sniper Precision Snap-Shooting events based on the Army Sniper shoots and other Countries competitions. These will be at 300 to 1000yds and will use the electronic targets (where we can). It looks like four classes for that to.... Historic / 7.62 / 5.56 / Other calibre. However, these classes are not set in stone yet.

Of course, this is all subject to there being sufficient interest..........?

What? You mean a competition where you can use bipods, the biggest scopes money can buy and you get to lie down all day - Of course there'll be interest!

Sign me up for this, sounds like a good opportunity to shoot some 308. Hell, I might even break out the springfield.

But I'd have to buy decent ammunition to shoot beyond 300 yards!
