The intention is to use the suppressor collar at a later date; the BUIS is zeroed.

Ha ha, I also heard that you thought it wasn't good enough....

Guess a dozen US Federal Agencies and International top shooters are all wrong....

Well if you would like to pass it along to Bunnyassassin now.......

Never said it wasn't good enough, I just dont want to *have* to glue the rings together. Wouldnt be a problem if dont want to change scopes in the future....

You don't have to......!

That is one of the anti-stupidity / liable clauses American manufactures add in.

I have several mounts and none of them have come loose yet.

Loctite is for rough use / military assault courses etc, as a safeguard.

Yea, I've been sent to the Betty Ford Bipod clinic and they're  making some progress.

....So how much for one of your "modified "magazines then?
Damn, you've just set my therapy back months!

Finally got round to taking some pics of my (not very) new toy.

Streetfighter crafted it in October and I treated it to a YHM Spectre fore-end for Xmas (and got some YHM BUIS in the deal).

Tally so far is 4 foxes (one at just after 6 this evening) and a little bit of range time Sadly my FAC only allows zeroing so I do quite a bit of that - both on the range and in the fields. I've joined 2 clubs and once I'm a full member Glos plod will graciously allow me to vary it for target shooting.

Anyhow, its a joy to use and not too heavy (I seem to recall some discussion re the YHM fore-end a while back). The scope was a cheapo but I'm keen to get an ACOG. I've seem a few knocking about in the system and will wait to see if I can blag one whilst away - if not, I'll get one the next time I'm in the US. if only the PX sold them I could save a packet!

Hope the pics work, if not, I'll have to RTFM!

Well I hoped to post a pic of the new mount firmly ensconsed atop my AR, but have been stopped cold by heat.... or lack thereof...

In sure and certain knowledge that I would NEVER be removing such a fine piece of kit from my high riser, I believe we used Loctite of the nasty variety....?

A gas torch will be available tomorrow, but I'm a itchin to get it on.....

Matches anyone?

Doesn't it just drive you mad when there's a job you're desperate to get to grips with?

No Dave it wasn't the nasty type, "290" but the nice type "242" but you still gotta get some serious heat on it to move it.

Just goes to prove my point - glue and scope mounts do not mix.

ETA: that scope looks too high.

Nah!  Can still shoot the fleas off a dogs back at 400m......  Fer a long necked f***ker like me, it's perfect...... I've dropped the original mounting solution (Accuracy Speaks) by 14mm..... That solution is going atop a future project..

And that old puppy got me a 4th on the PR League table last year....    (Would have been a first, but oaky scheduled 2 comps while I was in the Stataes.... )
