I live in South Staffordshire and was wondering if anyone can tell me where my nearest ranges are. I've managed to find some clay shoots but I'm a bit stuck for centrefire ranges. I recently visited Minsterley Ranges (which is great) in Shropshire but it's an hours drive and I was just wondering if there are any closer. Can anyone help? Thanks |

Phone the NRA 01483 797777 x155 or x156 They will have a club finder service on their website later in the year. However, for now a phone call will tell you all you need to know. (They hold details of all the NRA affiliated clubs in case anyone was wondering) Alternatively, your local plod (FEO) or County Firearms licensing Dept, should be able to tell you where the clubs are. |

Unfortunately Whittington is closed at the moment, that leaves Kingsbury, just off junction 9 M42, and Llansilin 5 miles from Oswestry. Check out my club's webpages. Offa's Dyke And there are the shoots at Sennybridge. It depends how far you are prepared to travel to get a good days shooting, Sennybridge and Llansilin are both around 180 mile round trips for me. I can probably get to J9 M42 in under half hour. Have you got any details on Kingsbury mate? Thanks for the help lads (and lasses...sorry got to be PC) |
