When I brought my speedmaster it came with a one piece scope mount. When I got round to mounting the scope I noticed that when the scope was mounted the mount rocked slightly backwards and forwards. I tried mounting it backwards and forwards but to no avail. I had a set of two piece mounts and that's sorted the problem. I checked the one piece mount on a different rail and it doesn't move at all so the conclusion is that the rail is slightly warped. The gun is only about a year old so I'm quite surprised. Has anyone else come across anything like this and can anything be done other than just using two piece mounts? |
