Thought I would jump in this forum and say Hello to all of you !! :)

To keep this topic AR related, I'm looking for some infos on SDI 22LR conversions. It's imported in France but I don't seem to find any pictures or details about it.

Cheers !!

Hi and welcome aboard

I think you mean the M261 conversion. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with pics

I'm guessing it'll look a bit like the A2 in this pic (the one with the bayonet).

It will most likely have the same M261 bolt kit and dedicated barrel that, along with the lowers, SDI bought from the Parker Hale (and they still have lots of). But with a little bit of creative work it can very easily look like the shorty in the pic as well.

thanks. How does the bolt work ? is it semi or do you have to load manually each time ?

The .22's are semi-auto.
The conversion device consists if it's own bolt, chamber insert and recoil spring.
That is unless it's built as a dedicated upper, where in that case the barrel is machined with the .22lr chamber and feed ramp and the chamber insert is discarded.
