Hey Folks,
After getting of the phone with my dealer, he recommended me Gilboa as a rifle manufacturer, anybody ever heard about them? Long story short... no european manufacturer will deliver select fire arms to civilians anymore (except the some of the Swiss ones), you have a law that makes it possible but manufacturers that play stupid: - Oberland Arms, H&K, Schmeisser and all the other German ones dont want to. - The Americans wont deliver because of ITAR - Wont go to the Chinese (Norinco) He mentioned Gilboa, an Israeli rifle producer that would do it without hesitation. Now I am not in favor what is going down in Israel/Palestine, but if they are the only guys that will do a decent job and are not Commies, why not. Anybody got any experience with them? Even if not... check them out and maybe you see something I have overseen: http://www.gilboa-rifle.com |

Thanks yes, I actually am really interested in the M43 (the one that accepts AK47 Ammo and Mags)... that probably be a cool toy. I guess there would be some kind of restrictions, but apparently they are even willing to export select fire rifles. So I am happy, wish my country was that good! |

Dutch gun dealers would probably export anything as long as the receiving party is qualified to do so. I know the export documents and all you should need is that the receiving party has permission to do so.
Here you need a collectors license to buy/posses FA (didn't seem to stop a big full auto shootout in the middle of a busy street last week) problem is that a collectors license doesn't allow you to shoot them so its useless imo (sport gun= non FA but shooty, collecting gun = FA but no shooty. ). |
