I was down at Elephant Butte fishing all weekend. So I didn't go. Did you get out?

I didn't make the opener but my neighbor did. He said there were hardly any doves. He hunted east of Socorro. I may go out Wednesday.

I didn't make it. Talked to a hunting buddy and he went to Edgewood. Nothing to see or shoot. Looking like a bad year again...

I haven't been out yet but my friends report few doves.
Too much rain and the fields haven't been cut yet. Roswell area. I do have a dozen or so in the back yard...... |

Yeah, apparently there are still a lot of Eurasians around that don't want to leave town. They hang out in your backyard. But what about the rest? I'm not hearing any good reports. Surely someone must have gone out and had something good to say.

Been out twice this year and there are lots of birds. Limited out both times.
Just noticed that the season runs until Oct. 29 this year. More fun to be had. |

I just noticed that the North Dove Season goes through the end of November. Anyone have any report updates?

Nothing going on up in the northwest. Most of the huntable birds went away with that cold snap we had in mid September.
If you could hunt the neighborhoods you would do well with the eurasians. |
