I went to watch a movie at the Icon Cinema that is new in the NE at Tramway and Central. I don't go to the movies much but I have to say this place was great.
They have a setup that is different that the norm. When you walk in you find that the ticket counter is at the snack counter. You pick your movie and a computer screen with the seating turns on. You pick the exact seat you want. They have two types of chairs, a full recliner and ones that vibrate with the movie sound. I picked the recliner, it was the most comfortable I have ever been at a movie. I don't buy anything to eat due to the prices but if that is your thing they have lower prices than some other places. Small popcorn and soda is 3.50 each but you get unlimited refills of each. The web site has the ticket prices. I went for the early show so the price was 7.50 but I thought it was a bargain considering the recliner chair comfort. |
