hey guys, I just got this on an work email, some of the info is of not up to date some of it is so please pass this along

Remove yourself by doing the following:





1. Locate the listing to remove (for name listings, please select the state,



city, then exact profile match)



2. Copy the URL (the URL can be found on the top of your browser and should



look something like



“http://www.spokeo.com/search?q=Smith...9812367″)



3. Go to www.spokeo.com/privacy



4. Paste the URL



5. Provide your email address (this acts as a verification process for the



confirmation to be sent to your Inbox) and Captcha Code (Image Verification



Code)



6. Check your Inbox for the confirmation email, and click on the link on the



bottom to complete the removal process.



7. The directory listing will become flagged and will be removed within 1



business day.

sorry I was at work, don't get much time to fuck off anymore, since I'm in charge of the day shift...., and I guess my copy paste job didn't quite work, lol, the site is spokeo.com, is a data mining site, I got the email at work from the security people, I guess someone actually payed the fee to investigate their own name and found out that most of the info offered was actually current and accurate shit at least for him, so he reported the site to the higher ups and they passed it down, I figured I should do the same and share it with you guys, the site is  pretty easy, I looked up myself and I was there with my current address and shit but didn't pay the fee to find out how accurate the info was, I just had my name taken off the directory following them steps...

My problem with sites like this is it actually takes the data and ties it to a real person via email address.

They say they wont use that email for nefarious purposes...
